April was another busy month. The weather was nice enough to visit Turcotte often. I tried my hand at chicken & dumplings and learned the joys of orange cranberry pecan chocolate chip scones with sausage balls.
Roy and Judy came to visit for Easter, and we had a lovely visit.
Here Mike is writing secret messages to me in wax on eggs, only to be discovered once I dyed the egg.
And we went to Los Gatos, California, to visit our good friend Karl. Karl was such an incredible host: we visited Monterey and the aquarium, the Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz, San Francisco, Chinatown, and of course Napa.
